The formative years of a child are the most important. Our BAVN curriculum enables all five domains of development which are mainly cognitive, physical, social, emotional and language help children become better adults.
Skill-based learning is acquiring knowledge through practical things/ by doing things yourself. It’s more about planning and practice, and students are encouraged to think smart, logically and find new ways to strengthen the concepts they’ve learnt through knowledge-based learning.

Built according to modern architectural design, Physics Laboratory of the school is equipped with all the latest lab apparatus. The lab is multi-faceted for students of XI-XII to nurture their technical skills. Their theoretical knowledge is put into practice by making the students experiment on topics like optics, measurement, electricity etc under the guidance of qualified teachers and trained lab assistants. The experiments carried out with intricate details here remain forever in the young minds once imbibed. The entire functioning is done as per standardized safety norms.
The Chemistry Laboratory of BAVN provides a platform for students to nurture the budding scientist within them. The laboratory is furnished with latest hi-tech interactive smart boards for a virtual real life learning experience.
The Lab is provided with the state- of- the art devices like- Fume hood, Distillation unit, Electronic weighing machine, Bunsen burners, beakers and flasks. Concealed gas line and the safety devices such as Firefighting equipment, first- Aid Kit etc. The acids and other reactive chemicals are stored in separate locked cupboards as a further precautionary measure. The students are provided with separate workstations with individual burners and plug points. The apparatus includes the common place strikers, mortar and pestle, clay triangles, watch glasses, crucibles, crucible tongs, chemical spoon, stirring rods, filter funnels and a variety of stoppers.
BAVN vaunts an intricately designed Biology Laboratory planned to meet the demands of the advancement in science and technology. The marble worktops are heat resistant and storage cabinets are easily accessible. The laboratory apparatus ranges from simple slides, test-tube, petridishes to the composite microscopes of varying powers to observe samples and organisms closely. They are high-powered, extremely expensive, and sensitive pieces of equipments that can make even the smallest part of a single cell seem clear. All the microscopes with digital eyepieces and built in cameras are a great way to preview live colour digital images directly from microscope to the computer via a USB port.
Besides the aforesaid the laboratory also has charts, models and specimens meant for demonstrations. The exhaust system efficiently sustains a comfortable environment in the room even while performing experiments requiring chemicals that let out fumes.
As the nature of Computer Science and Engineering has a never-ending cycle of innovation rooted in it, our focus is on increasing the standard of the teaching and learning to gain international importance in academics. Looking at the global perspective the school has identified a few thrust areas for student's development: Computational Intelligence and Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Networks and Internet of Things (IoT).The lab has enabled a large number of students getting involved in research and producing high quality solutions.

For instance, the ‘RAMANUJAN’S KIT’ has all the components with which every important concept and formula can be proved practically. It enables the teachers to demonstrate and reinforce Mathematical concepts.

There is an Open air Auditorium to host various programmes along with games like Chess, Table-Tennis, Carrom, Shuttle-badminton, Skating , Silambam, etc.
An architect’s delight, the auditorium equipped with the latest technology is the Pride of our school. It can accommodate 250 students at a time for assembly functions, parent orientation and a Lecture room.
RO system, Drinking Water facility has been provided for the students in the school campus.
The Dorm is a home to the students. It is a safe and enjoyable place for students to rest, recreate and interact. Separate hostels for Boys and Girls with all the necessary facilities like hot water, individual lockers, cots, etc., give the students a feeling of home away from home. Students shall keep the dorm very clean. They shall make their own beds, keep their cupboards clean and tidy, polish their shoes and maintain their kit. Matrons and House Masters/House Mistresses shall regularly inspect the student kit. Students shall have their baths as per routine, be groomed properly and wear proper school uniform at all times. Students should endeavour to be presentable and dress appropriately at all times. Boys shall not be permitted to keep long hair and sport beard. Girls shall wear only a single pair of ear studs. Students are not allowed to colour their hair. Girls will keep their hair tied while in uniform.
Students shall be punctual for all meals in the dining hall and enter and exit the same in an orderly manner. They shall sit according to their assigned places. They shall follow appropriate table manners. They shall NOT waste food. All students get equal share of the food served.
Our school is safe and secure. We can assure you that our school is monitored 24 x 7 by CCTV Camera’s. Security guards are available. To insure the fire safety fire extinguisher are installed in every floor.
To explore the innovative ideas and skills of our young minds, we have launched Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) in our school. Atal Tinkering Labs are dedicated works spaces where students learn innovation skills and develop ideas that will go on to transform India. The labs are powered to acquaint students with state-of-art equipment such as 3D printers, robotics and electronics development tools, IoT & sensors etc., The lab activities are designed to spur the spark of creativity, and go beyond regular curriculum and text book learning.
The school has its own buses for transporting the students from different localities to the school and vice versa. All precautions have been taken to ensure the safety of students travelling in buses. For the safety and security of the students, the transport system has been facilitated with a radio tracking facility/GPS. Our transport management system covers at most all prime areas of Sathyamangalam. For safety reasons, every bus route has an attendant accompanying children till the last stop.
